Privacy notice
MathsTutorUK collects as little personal information as possible. This notice explains what is collected, why, and what you can ask for.
Who is responsible for your information
MathsTutorUK is the trading name of Dr Saba Qummer, who is responsible for the personal information described here. Contact: [email protected] or 07469 055664.
What is collected
- When you enquire: the name, email address, course and message you send through the booking form, by email or on WhatsApp.
- When you book lessons: the contact details of the parent or carer (or the adult learner), the pupil's first name and course, and lesson times and payments.
- During lessons: the pupil's written work and short lesson notes, used only to plan the next lesson and to update parents.
Please don't send information about health, additional support needs or other sensitive matters unless it genuinely affects how lessons should be taught. Lessons are not recorded.
Why it is used
Your information is used only to reply to your enquiry, arrange and teach lessons, send lesson notes and keep basic financial records. The legal bases are taking steps at your request before a contract, performing the contract for lessons, and legal obligations for financial records. Nothing is sold, shared for marketing or used for advertising.
Who else handles it
- Email and messaging: messages are held by the email provider and, if you use it, WhatsApp.
- The booking form: form messages are delivered by email using Resend, an email delivery service, and are not stored on this website.
- Hosting: this website is hosted by Cloudflare. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits without cookies and without identifying individual visitors.
How long it is kept
Enquiries that don't lead to lessons are deleted within 12 months. Lesson notes and pupils' work are deleted within 12 months of the last lesson. Payment records are kept for as long as UK tax law requires.
